In the Summer of 2002 I walked several hundred miles of the Camino de Santiago in northern Spain, following in the footsteps of millions of pilgrims. I wrote, printed, and hand-bound this account for a graphic design class.

I've been bookbinding since 1995. It's something I can't imagine not doing, except at three in the morning, with a half-finished book I promised to make for someone six months ago sitting on my work table surrounded by unstable piles of waste paper, rock-hard glue brushes I forgot to clean, and my waning hopes of ever finishing.

In January of 2005 I graduated from the locksmithing program of the North Bennet Street School, and while it hasn't yet made me rich, I did find something I enjoy doing. Aside from the obvious pleasures of picking locks and manipulating safes, I get to bore my friends with highly technical critiques of TV shows and movies, and then post them here.
