| This is a "secret Belgian" binding. Really. An American binder named Hedi Kyle was doing something bookartsy in Belgium and enountered this rather nifty, and wholly unpublicized, binding. The cover papers are from a Bible concordance that I sacrificed, the front sheet including words like "drunk," "drunkard," etc., the back, words such as "dung," "dunghill," dungheap," and so on. It was a birthday present for a friend (he and his wife once, for my birthday, gave me a CD called Garbage, and a book called Filth). |
